I have been debating for the past few days…To Soapbox or Not to Soapbox. Decided NOT to Soapbox, and for those of you who know, you know how hard it is for me NOT to get on my Soapbox when I have something to say. Therefore, this is somewhat of an accomplishment for me. I have thought over and over and over again of ALL the things that I would LOVE to say to YOU (and you and you and you… {You will have to decide whether or not you are the YOU I am referring to}). But today, I am going to keep them ALL to myself and make you wonder… Seems like more fun this way. ;)
Here a couple of weeks ago, I went and hiked the Seven Hollows Trail on Petit Jean Mountain with our Church Youth Group…4.5 mile trek that was considered a moderate to hard trail…I had a blast!!! I was fully prepared to be in so much pain after the hike and that evening I was a sore, but after a good night’s sleep I felt amazing!!! HOW AWESOME WAS THAT??!!! The trek itself was absolutely beautiful, the colors, rusty orange, red and yellows! OH WOW!! God really outdid Himself on this mountain. I mean seriously, CAN YOU SEE THE COLORS? Absolutely amazing. As I go back and look at the pictures, I have to wonder if I had the vibration reduction on or not. Oh man, so many awesome pictures that are blurry.
I guess since tonight we are expecting storms, which runs the possibility of losing power, that I should really quit typing and start cleaning. BUT OH HOW I WOULD LOVE TO BE OUTSIDE INSTEAD!!!! It’s an absolutely beautiful fantabulous day!!! And I would much rather be outside enjoying it than stuck inside cleaning house. BUT…Colossians 3:21-25Servants, do what you're told by your earthly masters. And don't just do the minimum that will get you by. Do your best. Work from the heart for your real Master, for God, confident that you'll get paid in full when you come into your inheritance. Keep in mind always that the ultimate Master you're serving is Christ. The sullen servant who does shoddy work will be held responsible. Being a follower of Jesus doesn't cover up bad work.
